member must adopt a responsible attitude and only fly within
their capability.
Crops must not be damaged.
Gates must be closed after use.
Litter, or debris from damaged models must not be left on the
sites.
The noise emission from any model must not exceed 82db(A), and
every attempt should be made to reduce emissions to below
79db(A). Noise readings shall be taken in a maximum force 2 wind
with the model 7 metres downwind of the meter and 1.2 metres
above the ground, as follows:-
i) nose of the model facing meter
ii) port side of the model facing meter
iii) starboard side of the model facing meter
iv) tail of the model facing meter
Powered models should only be launched from a point on the
appropriate runway and as far away from noise sensitive premises
as is practicable.
Models should not be flown closer to any noise sensitive
premises that 250 metres and, except during take-off and landing,
should not fly any closer to noise sensitive premises than their
launch point.
Transmitters must not be switched on without displaying their
channel identification and having the correct peg on the
frequency control peg-board.
Always check that there is no landing approach in progress
before proceeding to the take-off point.
Once airborne stand clear of the strip as soon as possible and
get to the flight line with other pilots.
Do not overfly the pits or flight line at low altitudes.
Make clear to other pilots your intention to land in good
time.
Permitted flying hours are as stated for the individual sites.
